Yeah, where was I?

Where am I? Possibly the COLDEST single place on the face of the earth. Flagstaff is going to be great in the summers, but I see myself hating the winters already. JP said I need to acclimate - you know, I have been trying, really. I let myself be cold just to get used to it, but I hate it SO much... >_< oh well...

Just got off work - it was a pretty busy night tonight. Trevor brought in two college kids and a really insane guy. Had to deal with the biggest witch on the face of the planet... Yeah! Lot's of fun. Good thing I work with good people. So yeah, I'm making cookies to take to work tonight. Leon brought rice crispies treats this morning, and Christine brought candy the night before, so...

What else is new? I'm going to be activated before Thanksgiving... everyone is pretty sure about that. I'm going to make up October's drill on Monday after work and Tuesday and Wednesday. I'm gonna be TIRED! I also need to order some stuff out of Cabela's and Galls for workd and for activation stuff. LOL, Leon thinks I should buy a Glock 17. Nice...

Woo, yeah, I've been ingoring my blog again...

Well, nationals went good. We had trainwreck after trainwreck and still managed to pull off 7th overall (not bad for nationals). I think JP and Joe did pretty good. *ahem* Except on limited vis, but we won't go there... ^_^ But anyway, I had a lot of fun, learned a lot of new stuff about different matches and how to complain and get them all thrown out anyway and how to shoot without a kevlar and oh, just lots of other things. *grin* I'm just kidding, JP, I really did learn a lot. I'm really looking forward to next year... That is, if we aren't activated between now and then.

Congress passed the resolution allowing Bush to use military force if he deems it necessary, and since my unit is FAD 1 right now it's pretty damn official that we're going overseas. The only question now is when, and for how long. Probably seven months... I hope it's after Christmas, but I see it happeing just before. That's my luck!

Well, I have to work tonight, so I really need to go. I'll write more when I get the chance.
