Stupid blogger...

Wow, I haven't written in this in SO long... I really need a computer.

Not that that is going to happen anytime soon. My unit is going to be activated. We're 99% sure of that. I could be leaving as early as this Saturday. Crazy, huh? Yeah... I'm expecting to get a phonecall today. If not, I know it will be soon. It's funny. Mom keeps saying, "You don't know for sure yet." I know she doesn't want me to go. Neither does my dad. Nothing we can do about it now though. I'm really excited. It sucks that I just got everything squared away in Flagstaff and now I'm REpacking everything to move out for the next six months or so, but what can you do?

My job has been going very well. I don't really like my new squad all that much - we aren't that efficient yet, and our sergeant likes to micromanage and put his nose into everything. He thinks he's helping, but we all have our own routines and ways of doing things, and he's really just messing us up and getting in the way. I know he's trying though... He just doesn't know any better yet. I guess running smoothly will take time. Too bad I don't have very much left. Have a nice shift, guys, see you in a year!

I'm getting my hair cut by about three inches today - should put it just above the bottom of my shoulderblades. It's getting long - I really hope I don't get sick of it over there and just have JP chop it all off... Took me two years to get it this long! Other than that not much going on - just packing and planning and getting ready. Wish me luck and pray for me.
